After a really tough winter, spring has really made a difference to my head space!! All the wintery paintings are giving way to spring, and there is colour everywhere in my art. 

I am also exploring more gestural abstraction than the naive figurative work i've been doing the past few years. 

It never ceases to amaze me how much i am influenced by the landscape around me, and by the seasons. SInce arriving in the highlands I feel like I have come alive creatively again.
