A big list...to finish off march and start april

IMG_0588-1.JPG

I thought I would join in...if a bit late, with the taking stock list with Pip and with all the others...inspired by Michelle .

Remembering:  My boy's first easter, and how small he was, not quite a month old, just about ready to leave hospital. Best easter present ever. I still get teary at the though.

Making: Pancakes, mostly gluten free...and paintings when I can.
Cooking: Not cooking. Apart from dinner. Ideally if I had my way, all I would eat for the next month would be raw fish for dinner. Sashimi addict.
Drinking: Water, smoothies, pineapple juice with soda water.
Reading: This Changes Everything by Naomi Klein.
Wanting: Globally, for the naysayers to stop saying no, and start realising that climate change is real, and affecting lives in a big way.  Wanting to paint everyday. At least 2 hours.
Looking: At the sky, so much. Just can't not. The clouds, the sunsets. Slight obsession I have
Playing: Lego, Trains, Cubbies.....
Wishing: For a few OC1 Outrigger canoes and enough fellow outriggers to go out in the open ocean with me in them. At very least I want to go out around the island in a boat.
Enjoying: Painting, when I get a moment.
Waiting: For my paints to arrive.....could be a while.
Liking: How my body is responding to all the excercise. 9Kgs...sayonara...
Wondering: How to go about selling my art.....
Loving: Outrigging, especially in the V1 single outrigger. There is something quite meditative about it for me...unfortunately it's too unsafe to go out alone.
Pondering: On what book to read next?
Considering: Whether to save up for some more rollerblades to get me excercising through winter...or whether they will take too long to get here on the ship. OR to save up the same amount for a workbench for the studio.
Buying: paints...
Watching: too many kids shows!
Hoping: to hurry up and pay off my credit card.
Marvelling: at the beautiful place we live in.
Cringing: with embarressment and shame at 'so many of the federal governments policies.
Needing: not really needing anything...more time and sleep maybe...
Questioning: how to find the balance in family life when you are a stay at home mum
Smelling: salt air
Wearing: new nighty from target online. very comfy.
Following: Este Macleod on facebook
Noticing: how long my son's legs are now....
Knowing: that my painting is improving all the time. Yeoow!!
Thinking: that I'm a bit freaked out by the Raynaud's phenomenon that has taken over my hands and feet!!
Admiring: Artists who make a living from it.
Sorting: through all the mail....
Getting: cravings for sashimi!! Oh my gosh.
Bookmarking: .....nothing at the moment
Coveting: a 50mm lense, an 18mm lense and a 50-250zoom.
Disliking:  feeling crap after eating sugary chocolate.
Opening: the front door and looking across the golf course toward Emily Bay
Giggling: at my beautiful boy....
Feeling: tired. sore feet.
Snacking: on sashimi when I can.
Wishing: I could sell my art work
Helping: my son with his duplo and his new garage
Hearing: the crickets outside and the click of the keyboard and mouse scroll...and the waves in the background.
