‘Dost Mahomet’s Silence is an original abstract landscape painting by Andrea Hamann.

Dost Mahomet was an afghan cameleer involved in the Burke and Wills expeditions of early colonial exploration. This miniature painting is inspired by the silence in deep ravines in the Australian bush, and celebrates the diversity of Australian’s that are inspired by it.

Mixed media ink and acrylic paint on canvas. 15x15cm canvas framed beautifully in a Tasmanian oak frame. Signed and Painted in 2020. Painting is sold ready to hang with D-rings and wires.
