To market to market, to buy some art!

I just had my third week at the Sunday markets, and It has been going really well!! Given that we have a limited number of visitors to the island, and the market is fairly narrow I'm just delighted at how well it is going. I am going to have to go back to the printers this week to get more cards printed as I have nearly sold out of around 5 designs!!! I have also got to get back to the painting drawing board as today I sold 5 of the small canvases which are shown sitting on top of the table. It was amazing, I nearly didn't go to the market today because of the crazy cyclonic weather - I don't have a tent yet - but decided to go just in case, and so glad I did. One of the regulars didn't turn up so I nabbed her spot on the balcony, and had the best market day to date, irrespective of the rain and wind.

I have a great number of paintings in progress and really need to buckle down and finish some. Unfortunately University has been taking up a LOT of time this semester. I have had a frustrating subject which I feel I will be lucky to pass, which I have NEVER had to think about before. Crazy.

I have some lovely plans to take a few designs and put them on to fabric for serviettes and for cushion covers, maybe even tea towels and aprons! I'm particularly excited about it so as soon as my fabric paint turns up I will show and tell on this page :)
