Works in progress

It’s been so many years since I made pots that I feel complete freedom, like a whole world has opened up , so I’m taking time to test out ideas for types of work I want to make, and developing a bit of a plan. Wanting to somehow balance functional ware (which will require me to really skill up my throwing and glazing) and my more decorative (but still functional) projects.

I’m like a kid in a candy shop— I want to make mugs and bowls and bud vases and side plates, and need to build skills for those, but then I also want to develop so many other things which are in my happy place which is hand building.

It’s so freaking exciting.
