Many of you may know of Geninne Zlatkis...lets face it, who on the online facebook art community doesn't?? After she moved to New Mexico she started posting the most amazing SKY photos. If you have visited strongsoutherly before, you probably already know that I have a wee SKY addiction. And that I have been painting clouds out of my head for quite a while now, and photographing them...with mixed success. 

Anyway, not so long ago Geninne posted the most amazing sunset.....and I decided it was time to paint from a photo and not out of my head for once. So, from Geninne's photo...here is my painting. It's about as happy as I have been with a sky yet. Please excuse the wee glare in the photo....the paint is still wet.
