I am interested in how memories distort and merge, and this painting explores that. It is inspired by memories of my early childhood in papua new guinea, and is blurred with my memories of childhood stories of other places like Africa.
It is called 'Wanpela Kingdom', which may or may not translate to 'Some Persons Kingdom'. Wanpela a pidgin language word.
The painting is acrylic on canvas, and is professionally stretched over a solid frame.
Please note this is an old canvas that has been painted over a few times so that back side of the canvas is not pristeen, however this has no effect on the painting.
Painting will be supplied with d-hooks and wire.
Message me for shipping details/options as this painting can be sold rolled up or stretched.
